7. Account and Data Deletion (Google Play Requirement)
You may request the permanent removal of your Cardlino account at any time. To enhance security and verify your identity during this process, you must provide your Registered Phone Number, Email Address, and Username. Upon processing:
Personal Identifiers: Your Username, Email, and Phone Number will be permanently purged from our active user database.
KYC & Biometrics: All uploaded identity images (NIN/BVN documents) and facial verification data will be permanently deleted from our servers.
Security Records: We may retain the last four digits of your BVN or NIN in an encrypted archive. This is used strictly to prevent duplicate account fraud and satisfy Nigerian regulatory audits.
Transaction Logs: Per AML (Anti-Money Laundering) laws, records of completed utility payments and card transactions are archived for 5–7 years before final destruction.
Finality: Deletion is irreversible. All active virtual cards will be terminated; please ensure your balance is zero before submitting a request.
